Occasionally I meet people who seem to inspire others. They can be outgoing and full of energy. But not always. They can be articulate and funny. But sometimes not. They can be good-looking and have a great smile. But it isn't necessary.
Some people just have an energy about them which makes you want to be around them. They make you feel good about yourself and make you want to go the extra mile. It is a great quality in a leader and, I suspect, is behind the success of many entrepreneurs.
Recently I have met three people who seem to have this quality by the bucket load and yet they are all very different from each other. Despite hard times they are all doing well, creating interesting opportunities for themselves and others and enjoying their lives. Charisma seems to be working for them.
But what is it? If you could bottle charisma, what would the ingredients label read? And who do you think oozes it?
